Welcome to VibeReads. By creating an account or using the VibeReads application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use VibeReads. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

3. User-Generated Content

VibeReads allows users to create and share content including book reviews, discussions, comments, and playlists ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant VibeReads a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.

You retain ownership of your User Content and may delete it at any time through the App.

4. Community Guidelines & Content Standards

VibeReads has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. All user-generated content, including discussions, comments, reviews, and playlists, is subject to moderation. You agree not to post content that:

• Is hateful, threatening, harassing, or bullying toward any individual or group
• Contains sexually explicit or obscene material
• Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
• Is spam, misleading, or fraudulent
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contains personal information about others without their consent
• Is otherwise offensive or inappropriate for the VibeReads community

5. Reporting Objectionable Content

VibeReads provides tools for users to report any content they find objectionable. You can flag discussions, comments, reviews, and playlists directly within the App. Our moderation team reviews all reports and will act on objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and, where appropriate, taking action against the user who posted it.

6. Blocking Abusive Users

You can block any user whose behavior you find abusive. Blocking a user removes all follow connections between you and prevents further interaction. You can manage your blocked users from any user's profile.

7. Enforcement & Account Termination

Users who violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines will have their content removed and may have their account suspended or permanently terminated at our discretion. We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine is harmful to the community or violates these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The VibeReads App, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by VibeReads and protected by intellectual property laws. Book metadata, cover images, and descriptions are sourced from third-party providers and remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

VibeReads is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeReads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
